Activity
description
Embark on an unforgettable Athens mini cruise through the Saronic Gulf, a hidden gem of Greece!
Our journey begins with Hydra, a tranquil oasis where you can enjoy an optional unique walking tour through its charming, car-free streets. Donkeys transport goods, adding to the island's traditional charm. Next, we sail to lush Poros.
Here, unwind and soak in breathtaking views of the Peloponnese coast, a sight that's sure to leave you spellbound. Our final destination is Aegina, renowned for its verdant pistachio orchards. We offer optional exclusive educational tours to the ancient Aphaia Temple and tranquil Saint Nectarios Church.
You'll also explore the pistachio fields, learning about the cultivation of this famous local delicacy. For sea lovers, we offer optionally a refreshing swim stop at the untouched beaches of Moni or Agistri Island.
Itinerary:
Starting Point from Marina Delta Kalitheas: Easy access to a private marina, low traffic, no congestion, easy to find, and with premises to park any vehicle with ease.
First stop at The Majestic Hydra: The first island destination, is Hydra Island. On arrival, you’ll marvel at the amazing architecture of the harbor town and have plenty of time to discover the many charms of the island on one of our tours. A stroll through the narrow streets is a must.
Second stop at The Green Island Of Poros: Poros, a quiet and beautifully green island, noted for its pleasant beaches and the fragrant aroma of lemon carried by a gentle wind from its many groves. The boat will be at Poros for about 1 hour leaving you enough time to admire the graphic setting of the island's Chora.
Approaching the island of Poros the first thing you see is the historical clock tower on top of the hill. Built in 1927 is the main landmark and the city‘s pride. The island is surrounded by thousands of pine trees extending from the rugged coasts to the sandy beaches, it has -not by chance- been characterized as "the island of romance"Poros the Neoclassical.
Third stop at Aegina: The Island where history meets serenity. The historical Aegina took its name from the beautiful nymph that, was kidnapped by Zeus. Aegina is well known across the world for its delicious pistachios, beautiful beaches, the Temple of Aphea, and St. Nektarios Monastery.
Back to Marina Delta Kalitheas: Homeport, the same location as departure.
This is not just a cruise, it's an adventure steeped in authenticity and charm.
